vito injector removal help!!

hi. can anyone give me any tips on removeing and reseating my injectors on my vito 110cdi (v). i have removed the hard black carbon build-up and there is smoke comeing from No.2 injector. so any advice would be helpfull!

If you put Mr.Muscle oven cleaner around the seat of the injectors when the engine is hot and leave it for 10mins. i believe this can release the sticking injector.Just don't try and force it,if it means taking the head off to get a better purchase on the injector then do it.

thanks for that! so i will NOT use oven cleaner and the best tip is to run upto temp and i'm going to use duck oil around the injector before i start to remove.

with all the black carbon now off i can see it's only No.2 injector leaking so i will only do that one.

If you require the tool for removing the injectors in the UK here will rent a special puller at a reasonable price. It certainly helps to do it on a hot engine as it's expands the alloy head a bit.

i will be doing mine over crimbo,,rang diesel bob at ribchester(lancs) and he wants 70 quid per injector to refurbish ,,he will test them for abot 8 quid each ,,pretty quick turn around ,,he did our corsa van last month,,those injectors where a piece of p##s to change about 15 mins(bet the vito take me longer)
i just need those lottery numbers(thats all)
