warning light on dash

Hey,

My brother rented a vito over in france, and a warning light has come up on the dash. It's an exclamation mark in a circle, in brackets.. The car's running fine, but this has him worried. He hasn;t got the manual, and the guy he rented off, doesn't speak english..

Any help's appreciated!

I have the same warning light flashing up on mine........it means the brakes need attention, maybe the pads need changing?

It is an indication of worn brake pads or low brake fluid....tell your bro to return van ASAP for a repair or replacement!
