Pollen filter change........

Now this one is really testing! Removed the centre console on the floor and the kick-panels on either side.....but where the hell is the filter housing?[:(!] Anyone had success in changing this?

If it dosn't help try this, after the lower console is removed there is cylindrical rod behind it with a 13 mil bolt on either end, remove this & behind this is plastic strip approx 18in + 1 in with a tab on it. Slid this to one side, the filter is behind this, it needs to be hooked out with a screwdriver, I didn't put a new one in as it was to difficult.The heater is about 300% better.
Another thing I did was block off the vents just behind the drivers seat so all the heat goes to the vent in the rear, that made another big difference.
