Immobiliser chip on Key

Does my October 2000 V220 have a chip built into the keyfob, it is a flick out type.I want to fit remote starting to it but if it has this it could be a problem

Easy go down to the supermaket, spend $2 and get a key cut, grab a beer, sit in your vito, put $2 new key in ign turn, motor starts- your in luck, motor dont start, open beer and keep drinking you have a pellet in your key.

Immobiliser pellets are usually square and at the base of key , im sure you haveone. But use the above to find out for sure :O()
