collapsed wheels.....AGhhhhhh!

Sorry to bring up yet another thread on wheels BUT...has anybody had problems with aftermarket wheels collapsing or whatever? theres plenty of info on what you should or should not put on your vito/v class but has anybody suffered as a result of putting on different wheels.I've had 8.5x18 with 235/40/18 non xtra load bearing nankank tyres on oxigin 2 wheels ,now anybody who knows wheels and tyres are probably cringing about now, but the only prob i've had is that the shoulders of the front tyres have worn quicker than the middle as a result of the weight on the soft side walls.Having said that they've covered over 20000mls,and theres still life in them.As i fit kitchens ,i carry a lot of weight inc at times a 750 race bike and the only problem i've had is the kids robbing the chrome valve caps.Just today i've taken delivery of my new 8.5x19 wheels with Pirelli xload tyres so i cant wait to fit these bad boys.
