You didnt check the date on the post ,did you? and dont call me surely [:I][:I],as usual i posted the question but got no help/replies so i played the safe card and went with the 19's , glad i did too ,the 20's would have meant serious body mods and probably mega low profile tyres.[:(]

Depending on the off-set of the wheels you're putting on will determine if you need to touch the arches. My 18" only rubbed when i had a big load , but the 19" rub with less load ,as their off-set is less ,i will just need to roll the lip and it will be o.k.
p.s did u watch the rugby...[}:)][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:X]

I don't know how you're driving with 19"
I put 18x8.5 on mine et44 and it drives so hard ,specially on bad roads...but the tyres are still far from the arches...245/45's
the car is not lowered...
What PSI do you put in yours?

RE: 20"wheels on a vito

Are the roads that bad in the Leb dafi?, i had 235/40's on my 18's and i thought they were o.k., i've noticed the 19's with the 255 tyres tend to tramline more but its not really a problem and the ride is about the same, the van is lowered but the springs i have (cobra's) dont seem to be that stiff , although they're uprated 25%.

RE: 20"wheels on a vito

motorways are good as they are new,but some mountain roads are literally left over from the romans...
You can immagine how a Vito with 18" rides on those..
it tramlines a bit at lower speeds,but it's OK at high speed[over 40mph]...I use 35 PSI in all..it's never loaded...Is that OK?...[8D]
