My Gwagen is a diesel, is there adequate diesel fuel in the area? I have a small two wheel trailer - weight is about 350 unladen, but could carry extra (sufficient) diesel fuel - have jerry cans for 40gals of extra fuel. Is this necessary?

I am planing to be in AZ and NM in the spring to see the wildflowers bloom. This could be a neat extension of the trip.
