An "L" class truck??

Hello, I'm a new recruit to this site. Just purchased a boat with twin OM 352 engines. A Manual included lists an installation survey saying what the engines were used for (non-marine). It lists: L,LK,LS,LKo,LA,LAK,LAS, &LAKo. Are these Unimogs? What? I'm sure the OM 352 is well known here.

I think the engines date from 1972. Any clues about who might have done the conversion to marine for Mercedes back then?

more info..

Okay..not Unimogs.. They are Daimler-Benz 1113 or 911 with all the 'L' prefixes. Like LAK911. Guess they are built at a different factory & maybe different axles? Big DB Trucks!
