Hi this is my first post to this forum. (This first part may be slightly off topic, but it will only be a sentence or two). I will be buying a new/used personal vehicle for myself in the near future. My wife has a problem with me getting a 4X4 as my everyday driver...so I have agreed to a compromise - I will get something that is 2wd for everyday use so long as I can get a third vehicle that is [at least] 4X4. Moving back on topic now - for this 3rd vehicle I am considering a military vehicle though I am not sure where to look or what to look for. I saw a Mercedes Unimog at a campground a few weeks ago and thought that something like that would be perfect - I am also interested in the various "deuce-&-a-half's." Any and all info (including expected prices) regarding the Unimog's, Deuces, and similar vehicles would be appreciated. I am looking for something to use "on the ranch" or "at the deer lease" (though I have neither at the moment) - something just for fun, able to go through mud-n-slop and to pull the boat on the weekends, and heavier trailers when needed.
