Agreed - esp in it's current condition
Scott's 404.0 (EI) sold for less than that price and he is a dealer!
Good luck to the seller - may be for sale for a long time at that price
16k is some big money for what amounts to a 404 with a 4X6 doka cab. All of the peculiar parts of a 404 with none of the heavy duty 4X6 equipment or diesel.
I would say that 16k is pretty fair. Remember that the 404.0 had a few more options than the 404.1.
A real 404.0 should have a 2.8L. It should have power steering, power brakes and a few other nicknacks.
They are also capable of higher continuos speeds due to the 2.8L.
Add all of that to a clean doka cab and a nice strong yet light chassis that parts are far cheaper to get, and you have a really nice little truck.
I would buy a 404.0 doka over a 4*6 model doka anyday. They are really a great buy.
