Awesome totaly awesome Unimog....... Now I want one oh I know it may never be as nice as the one in that thread....
So now I am looking every where at Unimogs what to buy? what to stay away from?

Moderator note- pulled this post out of the drink. It was lost at sea inside another thread.
There are not any types of mogs that you need to stay away from (IMO), but you will need to ask yourself some questions to determine what mog will fit you best...
How much money are you willing to spend? (you can buy a rough 404 in the 3-5K range, or you can buy a next to new U500 in the $60K-$125K range)
What are you going to use the truck for? (work or play and what type)
How big or small of a truck are you looking for? (they range any where from a Suzuki samari size to semi truck size)
What is an acceptable top speed for you? (some top out at 25mph, a few models will run 70)
Do you want gasoline or diesel power? (only 404 models came in gas, everything else is Diesel)
Cheers,
Ben
