My personal favorite is the "one owner, lady driven, mostly to church on Sundays and to the market" rusty U1300L :-) .

What you fail to grasp is both Simon & Frank would tell you “one owner, lady driven, mostly to church on Sundays and to the market” was true if they thought they could get away with it to make a sale, feign stupidity or knowledge about Unimogs and they will both show you there true colours & lack of virtue unlike a lot of other mog dealers.
It is quite common for AV to say on there website that a specific vehicle has X, Y & Z fitted and the cost is £xxxxx.xx + VAT for the vehicle only to find they renege on there description/advertised price or part X, Y or Z was never fitted in the first place and is extra.
If you look beyond the above and assess things on whets in front of you and its merits etc rather than what is said to make a sale there are good deals to be had BUT don’t take what Simon or Frank say as being 100% correct or truthfull.

Having had my u1100 fitted with new engine and fuel pump with atkinson vos, plus other work and registering it in the UK I have to say I am quite happy with their service, advice and prompt way of dealing with requests.
Never bought a truck from them though, maybe you guys know something I dont.

Never bought a Mog ( yet) but kicked their tyres a fair bit a few years ago.
I went off AV very quickly, they simply wanted to sell me a Mog.
I was asking what might have seemed to them to be stupid questions ( and maybe even were) I felt I was snubbed pdq.
AC (Arthur) Price on the other hand?
A knowledgable qualified engineer ?gentleman who was more than helpful.
If I were buying I know where I would be placing my order.
cheers

I have to second you on that.
Bought mine for him, no complaints. Expensive but reliable. Awesome after-sale service too. All-around great guy
