You know, if you mount the rear winch above the hitch you can drag a car onto a trailer pretty easy! Also, if you sink it in a hole, that winch may be under the water line...

What are you doing for a bed on this thing? It doesn't look like a tipper. Would you consider mounting that rear winch a bit higher?

Nice fab work. I love the look of your tire / wheel package. Meaty!

So, how did you roll the plate stock and get that nice radius on the front? Massive slip roll? I don't see any hammer marks...

Top notch work! I assume this will match the body lines well. Be sure to post a photo when you bolt it up.

BTW - I really like the fog light holes in my stock bumper. They are the perfect size to insert a boot when you need to climb into the engine bay!!
i did it with a 3roller machine

IMHO even a beautifull Unimog is NOT a Unimog any more if it does not get out and do some work and get dirty, rather it be work for pleasure or work for profit.

Please consider not babing your Mog even though you made it so pretty. IMHO That's a down right sacrilege!!!!! not that my opinioun counts for anything more than shitz and grinz.

hmmmmm... what to call a Unimog thats mall cruiser, that never gets its legs stretched... hmmmm... how about Unismug? hmmmm... that's gotta be a new topic.

Uh,

it's HIS truck- he can treat it whatever damn way he wants to... especially after putting all of the work into it.

Jekran has been going to lengths that few do with their UNIMOGS. If he chooses to baby it and not bend the hell out of it, well, that is a choice that
is his to make.

If you own a perfectly restored M60 tank, that does not mean you have to go around shelling the city to prove your vehicle's worth. It is still a tank.

Let the guy that has done as much as Jekran has to HIS UNIMOG cast the first stone.

Just admire his work and appreciate the fact that he regularly posts his progress and take the good from that. Then, consider where he is on the planet, and all the more credit for that. I'd understand parking it in the living room, if that is what he wants to do.

I'm looking forward to the Stainless bed myself.

It is certainly a UNIMOG, no matter what he decides to do with it.

correct his truck.. he may do with it as he wishes and he will do just that as would anyone else.

Have edited to better get across an "IMHO message" not a .... "Im telling you what to do message" cause that aint the intent by any stretch of the imagination.

Sacrilege is having a Mog and letting it sit and rot! Unimogs like to work, like to play, like attention, and like to RUN.

Jekran, that is a *beautiful* truck that you have there. Your fabrication skills are amazing. I'm jealous of your shop. Thank you for taking the time to post all your pictures and for sharing your technical information, great reading/viewing.

No 'mall cruiser' there....
