PTO bearing replacement mission!

Hello

All the bearings,cir-clips and seals have arrived formeto over haul the rear PTO output bearing and intermediate gear. The mog is off the road and I'm starting this weekend. What I want to know if if its worth it to just remove the rear cover on the PTO box and replace the bearings on the shaft and intermediate cog OR should I just pull the whole PTO box out?Pulling the entire box out dosn't look like a huge job,I just don't want to do somthing that I may not need to do.

Answers and suggestions please.
