me too!I'm thinking about hydraulic one at the front. There is one by Warn designed for Unimog.I wonder if that one will fit on SBU's(MBU's) as it does on U500.I'm looking for at least 15000lb one.

Wilson, is that a factory bracket or had you that one fabricated.Looks good.
What's the specs on the winch? Is that the Warn one I was talking about?
We made that bracket and the winch is the Warn 15k hydraulic. Thats why I put it up for you. I'll get some better pictures of the bracket and post them up. We moved it up a bit and added a skid plate to protect the hyd lines.
These are not the best photos, but may help a bit:

Reason: more photos
Here is a simple mount on the front of one of my 406's. It is a quick disconnect type. Remove 4 bolts and it lifts right off the front bumper to allow putting on the front blade or loader. The winch is a Warn 10k hydraulic (ex-military).
Note the sliding hook. Handiest device ever if you do any logging.
Normalbloke: Here are the last photos of my fabricated mount of a Braden LU-4 worm drive winch converted to hydraulic drive. Winch facts: Military 1968 dodge power wagon PTO winch. Cap. 7500 lbs or 10,000 lbs with heavier shear pin. Military Internal components Rated at double or 20,000 lbs failure limit. Drum cap 230 feet 7/16 inch wire cable. hydraulic motor forward/reverse 400 to 800 rpm 15 gal max @ 2500. BADCASE
