IMPORTANT OT: Saying Thank you to Service people

The Gratitude Sign

Ever wonder how to say thank you when you see a military person (or any Service person IMHO) in uniform?

See a simple way to do it from across a room or as you are passing by.

Moderator snipped most the message.........

But seeing as this is an automotive forum, I won't get political here...

[Moderator note: Yep, not a political forum so remarks were removed. ] Gratitude is non-Political and includes Fire fighters, Police and the like.

No offence to any service people (I have friends in Iraq and Afghanistan, so do care) but does this really belong here?

Fair enough to post it as an OT, and see if it lives, but to force it on us? It's not exactly moderation.

No forcement involved at all. Making it easy to find on top is not force by any stretch of the imagination.

Dont like the message... then avoid it after that first curiosity takes you there to see what it was about. That's called Self Moderation.

Moving on.... this was put here out of gratitude so lets leave it at that.

think I'll just close the thread.

Here is where you can go to discuss your views on the topic of what you do or do not like about the Gesture idea
