Schaeff HT 11A backhoe hydraulic filter question

hi list
just wondering if any of you folks happen to know the part number for the hydraulic filter for the high volume pump - rear mounted PTO drivven - that supplies the hydraulic fluid for the schaeff ht11A backhoe that is found on the 406. I have one, that I want to change the filter out on since I have no idea when in its 30 years it has been changed . I know that a couple of the folks here have the same setup as I do on my 406.

thanks

lou

You talking about the central PTO driven "high capacity" pump on a Case, a different but similarly driven pump, or a pump on the backhoe driven by the rear PTO. Sorry, not familiar with the backhoe and want to make sure I understand what you mean by PTO driven. If the Case unit the filter is a Case part, L 52029. Also a suction filter, D 33557.

this 406 was one used by the German army - it has the high volume pump and reservoir at the back of the truck. it is driven by the rear pto shaft. the schaeff hoe mounts to this unit. It is somewhat similar to the SEE, but it is the german version. I know that the case units are much different. I could take some photos of it tomorrow. thanks for the help

I removed mine, and looked at it, and reinstalled it. It (whole machine) had been refurbished by the german army before being discommissioned a year or so later, and was spotless. There were some #s on the filter, but at the time, I couldn't cross them to another brand. Jim Ince was sure he could get them, if you find one, post the brand and #s please.

hi seth
I will post the info when I get it. I am waiting for the original operators manual that went with the ht11a. I actually found a vintage copy on ebay.de and was the high bidder. it supposedly has 100+ pages of info on the machine. It can take a few weeks for stuff to get from germany to usa, so I wanted to get a head start on it.

I would be interested in the number of the filter also. I am about to service my HT11A and that would be very helpful.

Regards
