Someones just sprayed the hell out of a decent one - look at the 6th picture (low down picture of front end). The wheels are actually red, and many things that shouldn't be body coloured are (springs, cardens, tie rod ends).
I don't know, but from the photos it looks like a 5 gal. pail of silver paint exploded! All the rubber and hoses are painted as well. And notice the red rim. I guess if you give something a total paint over it will sell. I would like to see this truck up close to see what it really is like!
I don't think that truck can hold a candle to what Von has done with his trucks. Anyone can put a paint job on a mog and call it" rebuilt " but Von actually takes every nut bolt and washer off and re does it the RIGHT way. Not a fair comparison at all IMO.
I wouldn't pay half of what they asking for that rig.

That's how I viewed it too. A true Gloss Over paint job, and definately no real attention to detail like Von and a few rare others do in here.
Yeah, the lawn mower tires come with the GOLF COURSE EQUIPMENT GROUP (ZZCX46)
that also includes those wonderful marker lamps sprouting out of the front.
Damn, You mean all I have to do is paint mine to get another 10K out of it? I should have painted it first and saved all the mechanical for the SUCKER who buys it. I'm with shaggy, seems like a good cover up job to me. When it comes to details-you'd be hard pressed to find work like Vons' trucks. It is nice, but it ain't 24K nice...
And speaking of those marker lights on the stalks, they don't even sprout from the truck in the same place. The passenger side one is up tight to the mirror mount aft of the amber light, and the driver's side is further forward , in front of the amber light. Those meticulous Swiss probably ran into
interference on the inside after the first one was already drilled. Must have been a blustery day on the golf course.
