421 PTO question - Benzworld.org

I have a 73 421 which I would like to add PTO shafts to. The transmission is set up for them. My question is does anyone know the parts numbers for the PTO shafts on a 421? Are they the same as on a 406 or a 404? I have a shop manual on order but it's not here yet so I can't look up the numbers myself yet. Thanks for any help.

The shop manual won't have part numbers either. Call up a Unimog specialist and ask. It will probably take a bit of research to pull the correct numbers for 421 pto shafts. It would be better to find used parts from a known 421.

I cant help with PNs, but I have a '75 421 with front PTO and can get you pix or make measurements etc.
