parts compatability

Hi I have a 1974/406 and have found a 1982 engine. MB 344-945-10-73629 130hp. Its made in Brazil and I am wondering what parts will work on my 1974. Injector pump,starter etc. Thanks

Those subtle differences Disco alerted you too on the Pirate4x4 board cannot be avoided. You will either have to learn German and become a parts expert, or swap the engines when one gives out. BTW, the rated usage between major overhauls for an OM352 is 12700 hours. So plan on doing a bit of driving first.

Thanks alot. So anybody know what a complete running om352 is worth? I will also have to check the hour meter. Thanks

My guess would be in the 3-5K range. Take a look at the Unimog Exchange. Every now and then they have one. In fact there is one there now:
