I have a 406 with the Schaeff HT11A backhoe. When I remove the backhoe and leave the rear hydraulic tank and pto pump, I can then mount my 3pt hitch. What I want to do is harness a 6' mower to the 3pt hitch but I cannot use the pto since the tank is in the way of a pto centralizer. Therefore I am thinking of converting a mower from pto drive to hydraulic motor drive. The backhoe pump should handle it. What I am asking help on is: What is gpm of the pto pump for the HT11A? What size hydraulic motor would you recommend to drive a 6' mower? Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Ted, do you have single or two speed pto? It will afffect your gpm at may rpm. I'm in the process of designing a hydraulic drive concrete mixer to mount on the backhoe mount. I'll use the backhoe tilt cilinder to dump it, and a skidsteer motor to turn the drum. Lookinh for a drum in the 1/3 yard size. The Schaeff pump is in the area of 25 gpm, at least thats what my hydraulic fittings guy tells me. I believe the pump was intended to use with the 540rpm pto, I use the 100rpm setting to lower the rpms and cut back on the mogstink. Seth

My pto is the single speed 540. The 25gpm helps me start sizing the unit. Regarding mogstink...why does the mog's exhaust stink to point of choking me everytime I get in/out of the cab? No jokes please!!!
Black diesel,
Great idea, I'll start R&D'ing this weekend at the Bobcat supplier...R&D stands for Rip-Off and Duplicate!
