anybody out there have any info on installing an aftermarkrt a/c unit in a mog? seems i remember a photo of an a/c unit mounted between bucket seats of an sbu.

There's an aftermarket kit available from Greentop in Germany that is very nice.

We've sold quite a few of these here in the States.

Dan Johnson is one such buyer and he detailed the install here:

The system is fully in dash and in between the frame rails.
