A.S.M.

I would strongly recommend A.S.M. for any repair big or small Mercedes-Benz or any other manufacturer for that matter. Joe is experienced mechanic ex-Air Force, so he certainly knows what he's doing. He's great at diagnosing, helped my old diesel lady to perk up.

Salim's Silver Star

Salim's Silver Star

I did only purchase few parts from them, but I've heard a lot of praise from friends who used them for repairs etc. (they have the biggest MB graveyard in Colorado!) I've seen a lot of old and new MB's at the shop.

Johnny's Star auto and Salim's

Both of these shops are a great alternative to the dealer. I have a Renntech SL74, and had it fixed at the dealer for minor problems, they don't seem to be great with my car. I don't think they understand what it is. I'm going back to Johnny's Star Auto. They appreciate what it is and realize normal diagnostic tools don't work with it.

Salim's Silver Star.

Fixed a slightly warped tranny pan for next to nothing when I was out that way. It had been leaking endlessly after I had attempted to change a gasket and torqued a bolt down too tight. When the car was up on a lift everyone including myself swore it had to be a gasket because the warping was not visible to the eye. Salim took a look at it and said it was the pan. Initially it sounded to me like a scam because it seemed like an expensive part. Then I asked him how much it would be, he shrugged and said "eh, $60". Ha! With labor everything was about $100. Not to mention he got me in without calling ahead and out the door in under an hour and a half. Even though I was from out of town they were extremely honest with me and Salim is a brilliant mechanic. This was the sort of diagnosis only a very seasoned mechanic would be capable of making. I highly recommend him to everybody.
