Ryan, I haven't had any experience with our Mercedes there at the "Mukilteo shop", but I stopped to ask about some work for our late 80's Jag and was told "it's too old for them to bother with". It seemed easy money to me. All I wanted was a front steering rack put in, and I even had the rack assembly from a reputable supplier already. I too was just too busy or plain didn't want to fuss with it, but from their level of support I guessed I'd be doing the job afterall. Luckily I called Conaway in Everett about our Merc for something else and just happened to ask about the Jag. They said "sure, we work on them too". The interesting thing was they quoted about 300-400 hundred for the job. Heck I was expecting a couple thousand easily, just cause it was a Jag.
Long story short, we have always gotten our Mercedes work done at Conaway in Everett. If I were you I'd take your car to them. If you're thinking a shop being busy is a good measurement of quality, then you'll love them. And their attitudes are always better than what I experienced at that "other" place.
