Thumbs up CA, Lafayette

California Star in Lafayette. Bill Gunnett is the owner. He and Chris are both great. My family has known Bill since our first Mercedes in the late 80s. I can recall a panic when I pulled the key out of my 300CD and the motor was still clattering. He patiently talked me through shutting the motor off with the stop lever. I'm not at all the mechanical type and don't think I had ever opened the hood myself. Since then he serviced my Dad's 300SDL and a 300D we had. Currently services my sister's C320. Recently I drove from San Carlos to have him do some work on my ML. Wish he was closer. Great work. Reasonable pricing. Honest. Trustworthy.

Lafayette German Car Repair is tops in my book. They have done so much work for me on my sick 95 E420. She was sick when I got her. Now she's great. They found everything wrong, showed me, gave me an estimate and then executed the work in a professional way. They also have a body shop down the street. They use nothing but OEM in both shops and use torque wrenches
