Winco Auto Repair

If you like walking into a shop full of 1970, 80 and 90's era Mercedes you'll love this place. Fair prices and they really know Mercedes. Hugh the owner has talked me out of repairs. I have referred friends and they all thank me for the referral afterwards. They rebuilt my transmission in the shop themselves vs. sending it out and gave me a 1 year guarantee.

I bring two Mercedes there and I am very happy with the service. Once I brought the wagon in for a AC recharge and by the time I walked home I had a message on my answering machine indicating the car was ready.

For independent auto body shop (that specialized in Mercedes), I would highly recommend Sunny Auto Body shop @ San Francisco. See more reviews here:

Sunny Auto Body - Mission - San Francisco, CA

Hope this helps!

By the way does anyone here know of a good auto stereo installation shop that has experience replacing the infamous Becker 1432 2-piece stereo in an old 1993 Mercedes 300E 2.8 (W124)?? Many thanks!

I'm looking for a shop in SF or the Bay Area that can repair my sunroof that is closed and the mechanics appear to be working but not moving the panel.
