STAR MOTORS has done well for me so far. All older ex-dealership techs, from what I was told.

I'll second that opinion. Had them do my PPI and if I puchased the car (which I did) they credited the PPI cost to my first service at their shop (had all fluids changed....60K service). Oh, and on more than one occasion I have called them (Guenther) and asked questions. They are quick to answer and never pressure to have the car brought in (I am cheap and try to do as much myself as I can)

I recommend Mercedes-Star Motors in Tualatin

I'll third that opinion. Guenther is very good with questions, and I've asked a lot since my E320 4Matic is new to me and a bit over 100K miles.

Lakeside Mercedes Repair - Mark Gobel is the owner, he worked dealership as master mechanic for many years and then bought his own shop.

Great work, fair prices, very knowledgeable staff.

Most recently (have 5 MB's, so will only mention most recent experience) - solved intermittent die/no-restart on my 96 E300D. $140 parts, $73 labor.

The shop is off of Hwy217 near Kruse on Bonita (heading west on Bonita, just as you cross the train track, building is on the left). 503 620 8021
