I think South Bay Autohaus on Monterey Road are very good and honest people, but I am not sure they have SDS such as to set RPM at idle and drive ?

I need to know the exact problem, rather than trying a shotgun approach.
I think they have all the Mercedes diagnostic equipment.

What's SDS system?

MBZ Star Diagnostic System to communicate and reset values in the engine computer ( NOT CEL). I need my RPM in D and R to be 100 RPM higher than what it is to make the vibration go away.

I checked with South Bay Autohaus; they do have SDS system.

SLS suspension

Hi everybody!

I live in san Jose and I got a W140 coupe with the very complicated Self leveling suspension system. Would anybody recommend one of these shops over another to work on my suspension, I need a few parts replaced. Ive read too many stories of people completely ruining their suspension system due to incompitent shops. Thanks for any help

I'm still using Mercedes Exclusively in San Jose with excellent results.

Last week we had (08 C300) bad tensioner, idler pulley and belt replaced for about 1/3 less than dealer service pricing.

Has anyone tried Cupertino Mercedes service? They have good reviews on yelp, almost as good as Mercedes exclusively. Their shop is closer than Mercedes exclusively to my home.

Yes, not sure how skeptical I should be of Yelp reviews, but Tony of Mercedes Exclusively has been the best for years on servicing my C300.

Hi everyone,

Our CLK got backed into by a careless driver and I wanted to know if there are any reputable body shops in the Santa clara / San Jose area that come highly recommended by those of you who may have some experience in body and paint work done for your cars.

Many thanks in advance,
Vg
