Please tell them that Lynn Sorensen suggested that you give them a call!

They are bothers with each having 20+ years of M-B work behind them.

Honestly these guys are the greatest! As far as an Independent shop I put them at the top of my list because of ther fare labor prices, and they will allow you to bring your own parts and not punish you for it.

They are a pleasure to work with and have great customer service skills. Michael is the more talkative. They also have one other guy that really knows his stuff as well.

A shop has a total of three lifts and they can do it all and more. Yes, they do have a M-B STAR Diagnostic Service System (SDS) software on a laptop to conect to your 38 PIN adapter. So they can read, erase, and reset diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) so that your Roadster Soft Top (RST) is working like new again. BTW, it takes one of these systems to reset a RST after MY 96.

I usually call and set an advance appointment, drive 20 min. to see them, wait for the work to be done, and I'm never dissapointed in the quality of work.

BTW, I have no affiliation with them and stand to gain nothing from giviing them a good review for the multiple times they have done work on my 2000 SL500.

Just got back from M.B. Stars where I had Michael add some brake shims that Akebono sent me for my rear ceramic pads due to a slight squeal when backing up ONLY. The shims have now taken care of the problem.

I also had him install a new set of Stainless Steel Brake Lines and renew the brake fluid but I'm not sure that they where worth the total of $260.00 for lines at $115.00 and $85.00 for labor and $60.00 for a fluid renew.

They just installed my new suspension, at a reasonable price, and I love it.

Please see my new suspension w/ a fresh exterior detail.

Lynn, I assume for all that suspension work you got a fair deal? I love my '95" s 500 but it needs rear struts. I've been quoted 500.00 each , just parts alone. what if I may ask did you pay?

If I'm not mistaken we both have entirely different suspension technologies. My SL500 has front struts and rear shocks and you have a rear self leveling hydraulic system. If so, then your list price for parts are much more expensive unlike my Bilstein HD rear shocks that cost me $70.00/each. BTW, MB STARS did only the labor on my car. I bought my own parts.

All my cars are served there. I have known them since 1995. One of the reasons I have mbz is because of them, always dependable. I probably will sell all my mbz if they retire or quit.

I drive from Irvine to Walnut because Mike and Albert are the greatest not only as owners/technicians but customer service.

They simply know there stuff with over 20+ years of MB service.

I had them inspect my 1981 240D before I bought it. They actually advised against the compression test, since they didnt think I needed it, when they could easily have made extra money off of me. He was very friendly, and seemed like he really enjoyed his job!

Lightbulb Great Service

After much deliberation I took my car to these guys and I'm glad I did. Nice guys and answered all my questions. Pointed out a few other things that needed attention and gave me what to expect at the next service.

Definitly go back and send others there.
