Probably the most honest mechanic I have ever met. Very reasonable prices and as prompt as they come!

Anyone know of any of these shops in the Sacramento area that specialize or may be a better place to work on an 06 E320 CDI.
Thanks in advance any help is appreciated.

I have appointments scheduled with Bartech LTD or Silver Star Motors for Service A.

I don't know who to pick yet; both seem very knowledgeable and prices are fair. Thinking of going with Bartech LTD because they're closer, can shuttle me to work, and willing to do some SDS mods.

I like Silver Star. I tried a few others before using them and will use them until John retires or dies. PS Used to work in stealerships + Independents for ten years.

I was recommended to a shop by 2 different people and took my SL55 to have the crankcase positioning sensor replaced and the equivalent of the A service performed. The owner is a MB Master Tech, very knowledgeable and more than reasonably priced. His shop is nothing fancy but his service, knowledge and pricing are phenominal.

He is located in Rio Linda details are shown below:

Robert Allen
7344 West 2nd Street
Rio Linda
Phone 916-934-9710

I would highly recommend him.

I take my E420 to Eduardo at Three Point Star Motors on Auburn Blvd, he is honest, reliable, and reasonable. He even helped me find my car when I was looking to buy.

I know several other customers that drive all the way from Oakland, San Francisco, and even further to get their cars serviced. "Only Eduardo touches my Benz!" they told me.

I took my E320 there a few years back. I don't remember much about the place and haven't been back there since. I take mine to Capitol City European, they have always given me a fair price when I pay cash. Usually same day service. Drop off, walk down to starbucks, pick it up and go home.

Mercedes Benz, enough said.

It's been a while and after a few trips to Bartech, can't say I would recommend them. They never called me with updates when I was getting an A done or special requests and do bare minimum (i.e. you have to dictate exactly what you want done or they won't do it). The only upside to their shop is they will shuttle you to and from work as needed.

Spent very little time at Silver Star and asked John to go over my entire suspension to track down a vibration. He went through it in about 20 mins and I don't feel as though he was very thorough. I may return for more typical things like A & B services, OEM part changes, and fluid services, but as far as looking for a shop that can provide aftermarket support....my search continues.

A&B European Motors Rocklin CA

Have used these guys and they seem honest and fair. And they dont mind doing aftermarket stuff. Had my car lowered and sway bar put on.
