Actually, that's "Ted's", and yes, Lynn is a great guy.

I would also recommend "Sal's Euro Motors" at 44136 10th St W, turn in the driveway just to the right of Baskin-Robbins.

Thumbs down My Ted's Experience

Had a bad experience with Ted's. When I went to drop my car off there after being told I could do so on a Saturday, I was met with a rude mechanic (the owner's son) who told me I could not drop it off, then proceeded to tell me "no one told [me] [i] could leave it there", and then was extremely rude and unprofessional. Basically told me he could care less what I was told, and offered no solutions. Not even a "sorry, but whoever told you that was wrong, but let me see what I can do", or a "sorry for your inconvenience, but we don't allow that for liability reasons" etc. He was downright rude and aggressive.

I'm sure these guys do good work, but after the run-in I had with this guy, I would personally never go back.

In addition, according to their website, "All cars are stored in our 3000 square foot shop every night". This is just plain false. There were 5-7 cars outside their shop, and I was told there wasn't even room in the parking lot to leave my car.

Since Lynn is no longer at Ted's, things have gotten noticeably different over there. Not sure where Lynn is now, but I sure would love to find him again! He did some great work on my BMW and Porsche.

Has anyone in the AV ever tried the new place off of the 14 at Avenue I? Looks to be a pretty big operation called Antelope Valley Mercedes Benz.
