ML320, Panel Lights, Strange

I have a strange problem with my 2000, ML320. Every morning when going to work after I drive 2 to 4 miles, following panel lights comes ON,
BAS/ESP, ETS, ABS, (O) and Check Engine, See picture.

The truck then looses power, I can accelerate and engine RPM can go to 3000 to 4000 and vehicle will not go more than 10 to 20 mph.

I pull over and shut the engine OFF and remove the key. I wait for 1 to 2 minutes and can start the truck and all panel lights are OFF and I can drive and everything works normally.

On my way back home in the evening all is well and truck runs normally.

Next day morning, the same problem repeats.

I showed it to mechanic who works for a Mercedes dealership and he said the brake caliper was bad and replaced the front brake caliper.

I have driven the truck about 1000 miles since this problem first occurred.
The same problem occurs every morning.

Any ideas what could be wrong ?

You have posted this in the wrong forum. Try the w163 forum. You will need to have your M class scanned to get the codes that are triggering the check engine light. Please post those codes.
You might have a bad brake sensor under your brake pedal. If you get the BAS light, you can try turning your steering wheel all the way one way, then all the way the other way. Do this until the light goes off.
This is the reset but like I said, your sensor may be bad.

The w163 forum is very active. They can help you solve the issues you are having.
