That's just the kind of shop I need near Mount Dora, FL. (one hour NW of Orlando). Any suggestions. Is there a front bumper replacement made with a higher ground clearance for a 2002 CLK 430?

Since moving to No. FLorida above Gainesville, I have found a new shop "Continental Imports", in Gainesville. Since South Florida is 5 hours away, I needed to use a shop closer. They are about 90 miles from you. They are a family run business, out to take care of your repairs for the least amount of money. Very much like the shop in Pompano, mechanics for each type of import, don't charge to find the problem, loaner cars when available. I highly recommend them, if you need a good shop-Worth the trip, especially if major work. They do mechanical and do not do body work.

Motronix

I purchased a 2002 CLK Cabriolet, and immediately took it to Motronix, based on the recommendations of this board.

Dave, and the rest of the crew, were amazing, even giving me a ride back to work while they worked on my car.

Great work. Fair prices. And very thorough.

Can't recommend them enough.

I just had my S500 serviced by European Auto. I have been using them for over 5 years and they still do BETTER work than the Benz dealer. They do it for less and work is 1st rate. They have the Star system and all the tools. Everyone knows it is the best place in Broward County. It was an insurance claim this time and they got everything perfect. Like it never even happened.

I love when people claiming they're MB master techs. Only MB dealer tech can be MB certified master tech. BTW Mercedes requiring all master tech have to be recertified every 4 months now.

Mercedes Repair Shop in Broward that I highly recommend

Since purchasing my W202 I came across some factory defects such as a head gasket leak and some other issues and after wasting time researching 4-5 local guys whom attempted to upsell me with all type of unnecessary crap I came across the below shop whom I would recommend with my eyes closed.

I had my top end practically re done by him in addition to having my regular service and have never had an issue. He's a former Mercedes tech and ACE certified in multiple disciplines and Certified Master Tech by Mercedes.

He is by the book when it comes to pricing which is not expensive however not the cheapest either but if you want quality at an affordable price this is your guy!
