Touring Car in the Charlotte suburb of Matthews. :: Welcome to Touring Car Inc. ::

Touring Car is staffed by mostly BMW trained mechanics. They also do good work on Mercedes

I strongly suggest MBV European off of Old Pineville. Great service and Russel knows what he is doing. Took my 2000 230K and they made it run like new. It cost me 1900 for everything that needed to be done, but the original place I took it to claimed an estimate of 5,000 and misdiagnosed numerous things that I read even here on the forums. They also seemed very honest as numerous things I had done were simply for piece of mind and they told me I didn't need right now.

Some of the things they did (left my work order at home will update when I get it):

100,000 mile tune up (new fuel filter, airl filter, oil ect..)
Transmission work (Carbon clean?)
A coil spring in my suspension had broken so they had to replace both front coils
New gas cap and fuel sensor
Also had spark plugs replaced.

By a long stretch the best is BROTHERS Auto Repair in Indian Trail (just south of 485).

My wife is a member of Angies List and it states they have a near-perfect rating as well as zero complaints on BBB

They freely re-repaired my power steering pump 3 times when the first rebuilt pump went bad. They installed a 2nd, pump at no charge and then tightened hoses on a 3rd visit due to continuing minor leak - Each additional visit resulted in no costs and NO QUESTIONS. They stand by their work.

Ask for JASON

Confident enough to be dangerous

Great shop for anything w123, w124 and w126 (especially diesel) is Neighborhood Garage, across from Lowe's on South Blvd. The guy is really just a Benz junkie who happens to let people pay him to fix up and repair their cars.

Thank goodness for this!

I'm from California (where there's a euro car repair place on every other street), but I'm moving to Charlotte next week for school and bringing my car along with me. I was checking Yelp for reputable Mercedes/Euro shops and couldn't find a single one. I was afraid there wasn't going to be a decent shop to maintain it!

Will definitely be keeping Eurowise in mind now.
