I'll give Motorwerks a
Had them change out my CPS ..
No complaints they did it half the price that the dealer quoted me .. even though after reading these forum shouldnt take more then 20-30 min .. I waited 2 hours .. also once the part was installed they stated my CEL is on .. When i asked if they can clear it they said No they need to scan it .. But i scanned before taking in and only code i had was for CPS .. anyhow think it was a gimmick to get another $50 just to run a scan .. Because i'm guessing who ever takes their cars there are unsuspecting ppl who dont follow up on these forums and dont be informed before taking action and just open their wallets like they bought their benz brand new or somthing and just figure hey its cheaper and might be better then taking it to the dealer .. But i declined the scan started my car the CEL on turned it off then turned itback on CEL gone .. hmmm for $50 i dont think so ..also when i declined they seem a little bit upset like i should of just did it .. But im driving a benz out of warrenty, work manual labor 7 days a week and to pay $50 to hook up obd seems a little unjustified for me and looking for best prices possible and to try to get me for a measly $50 seemed a little bit cheesy .guess they needed more then the $100 they charged to install a CPS ..I have a close friend who swears by them but everytime i talk to him his car is in the shop for somthing new .. sounds fishy really .. I think he just likes going there to look at other cars becuase it looks like a episode of Unique Whips when you walk in see all kinds of tricked out benzos and other makes also ..Overall though since then havnt had one problem yet so <knock on wood> ..
Sorry for the rant i still give them a though ..

Euro-Tech Motorcars, Madison Heights, MI

I take my 2005 E320-CDI to Rick at Euro-Tech. He does a great job at a fair price and has always been extremely honest with me. His place is a bit hard to find since the City of Madison Heights has not allowed him to put up a sign. Google 31171 Stephenson Hwy, Madison Heights, MI or call Rick at 248-558-0088.

Best Mercedes repair shop in Detroit!

Euro-Tech Motorcars Ltd
31171 Stephenson Hwy
Madison Hts,Mi 48071
248-588-0088

I took my 300D to this shop for the first time last week. This owner is honest, the work is high quality, the prices are excellent compared to a dealership. They don't just throw parts at it until they get lucky, they know what their doing! I will never go anywhere else for Benz repairs!

I was a little disappointed last time. The owner quoted me around $400 on the phone to do some service work on my newly acquired S500 4Matic. The only additional service I agreed to on site was a 1 hr check over. The total bill came in at $1121.40. Up until this time I thought well of Motorwerks. I don't know what to think now.

Euro Tech Closed

Euro Tech closed down apparently. Does anyone have recommendations for other shops in the area? Motorwerks is pretty far away from me.

All, Euro-Tech is NOT closed or out of business! I just got off the phone with Rick who said they have a new phone systems that has caused some issues.

Rick and his team do great work at a reasonable price. He has gotten the short end of the stick from the city of Madison Heights when comes to fences and signage...if you own a Benz and need service give him a call.

Arrow EuroTech Open

EuroTech in Madison Heights, formerly on Woodward, is not closed, but business is slow, just had an oil change and lube service done there, yesterday.

Sooo, if you need service, now is the time, give Rick a call at (248) 588-0088 and tell him Steve from Ypsi, sent you.

The other comment about repairs, and various shops, is that you have to be an informed consumer.

No repair shop is without problems and can be totally trusted. It is best to research this forum and have some idea about the mechanical issue before you have your mercedes repaired, and use your good judgement at the shop.

I have had consistently positive experiences with the dealers repair shop diagnosing technical problems but the priciness of parts and repair, tends to be cost prohibitive.
