I wouldn't go to them for anything. A few years back they told a friend of mine her alternator on her Porsche 911 was going to take $1,250 to repair. I took it off in 15 minutes, had a local alternator shop rebuild it for $46 and it was fixed. $1,250 vs. $46 not good. Then last year I took my daughters 2000VW Beetle to have them just plug into the diagnostic port to verify the comfort control module was bad. They spent a few minutes and charged me $200. Then they told me the new module was going to be $525 and I said I can get one at the dealer at full list for $465, can't you just charge full list, you get parts at jobber price and they said no. I took the module out myself, had it rebuilt for $150 with a lifetime warranty, had the VW dealer reprogram the module and configure everything. The VW dealer only charged me $45 to do that, which I thought was a good deal and now it's fixed for less than K&M charged just to say it was bad. BTW they never removed the module, just plugged in to the port. In my book it's the biggest rip off shop in Peoria.
