^ Actually, I just had a very unimpressive experience with Benzin for an SLK32 supercharger problem, for which they basically charged me $110 to tell me they weren't going to fix it. Interestingly, if I forced the issue and begged them to do it, it would have cost me 3.5x as much based on the numbers they were presenting me. If you have a really significant engine problem, stay away from them.

Claremore

If you go to Claremore, Oklahoma, there is a little auto imports repair shop on the edge of town that is phenomenal with MB. The owner has worked in MB dealerships, import specialists shops, as well as on airplane repair (don't ask). The name is eluding me, but he did a great job with my 84 300D.

I just had a new soft top installed on my '87 560SL at Scott's Auto Trim in Tulsa. Nathan did a great job installing the top and I would recommend this small shop if you need a top and are in the area.

Where is it?

Anybody know the name of the place in Claremore? I am looking for a Benz shop that works on older cars. I have a 190E and most places look down their noses

I'm not sure about Claremore, but just spoke to EAS about working on a 30-year-old W126 and they pointed me to Busby Automotive in Catoosa - 918-234-3564.

EAS incidentally is probably where I'm going to take my newer cars from this point onward. I've had my last bad experience at Cooper.
