Post MD, Silver Spring

I received really good service at White Oak Auto in Silver Spring, MD. They specifically service Mercedes-Benz. I was in dire need of an oil change and all of the dealers were booked up for the day. I called White Oak; they told me to come in at 4pm. I got there at 4 and I was literally walking back to my car by 4:25. They were nice, clean, friendly, and quick. Their oil changes normally run $100 but they have coupons online for $89 (Mobil synthetic). I'll continue to go back for oil changes and probably any other major work I need done.

White Oak Auto Service, auto service, Mercedes benz, repair, foreign vehicle repair, car maintenance, oil changes, tire rotation, fuel pump service, engine replacement, a service, b service, schedule maintenance, Silver Spring, MD

I need transmission fluid changed. 141k, original fluid. I asked for a pan drop out of safety concerns and that was the majority opinion on this forum. The owner seems to only want to do a powerflush. I was quoted "around" $200 for the pan drop. Seemed reasonable. I can't find a shop that wants to do a pan drop. They either recommend doing nothing or a powerflush.

Had a good experience at Auto Shoppe on Philadelphia Avenue in Silver Spring. They were recommended by a colleague, and I finally had occasion to use them when I needed the hydraulic lines to the self leveling system on my 4matic wagon replaced. They treated me very well, and charged me a fair price for what was definitely a tough job.
