Steve the owner of Kraft on east 56 st bet Ave J and Flatlands is the best and most honest mechanic I have ever encountered. Highly recommend to anybody in NYC or close by. The guy is good as gold. His number is 718-451-2500. You can find him online, just do a search.

Updated headlights, led mirror covers, Burl armrest, painted grill.

Post Kraft German Auto

Same here. I have a 1984 500SEC Euro that is running so well because of him. I have 281,000 miles.

I just got a 2003 CLK 430 Cabrio that I will be bringing to him for NY Inspection and PPI (post purchase inspection!). I don't think I would have gotten such an electronically controlled MB unless I had someone good to take it to.

i just got my sisters 2003 ML350. I am driving it down from ATL this weekend. I am looking for a repair shop that i can trust and be my go to shop for this car. Being that i lve in Queens, does he usually get things done while u wait? For instance the Flex A Service thats due on the car.

Leaving the car and having to commute home and then back to pick it up seems a hassle. Although for a good mechanic it might be worth the pain.

I would check his availability depending on the type of work you need. Routine maintenance you might be able to wait for with an appointment.

Why not have a el cheapo rental delivered there? It may be worth the money. Or grab a taxi and a bus. That would give you time to read about the Phillies, Halladay, Lee, Oswalt, Hamels...

Post Kraft

I am going there Saturday morning for a 'spection and whatever else he might have time to do while I wait. I just got the car and do not know its service history (2003 CLK 430 cab 50K miles).

It's worth the trip to check the place out, I think you'd feel comfortable with the shop.
