German Auto Group Springfield

Hi,
I have been meaning to post this for months as Tim and Bob (50 years combined experience) at German Auto Group have taken care of a couple things for me at extremely reasonable prices and with tremendous service. They saved me thousands on doing a prepurchase inspection of a very clean low mileage(NOT) 560SEC. The inspection took over two hours and then over an hour of showing me everything they went through.

Recently they agreed to inspect and store some very valuable wheels for me and I am going back to them for some work on the SEC I have bought, I am driving three hours the opposite direction from home to make the stop.

Welcome to German Auto Group - Mercedes Benz, BMW, Porxche, Audi, VW, Volvo & Saab

I have had very good service for 10 years at Mitch Carr's in Kensington on Howard Ave. They specialize in MB and are very honest, competent and knowledgable.
Hal usually answers the phone....and I take my wife's 2009 E3504Matic and my 2008 S63 to them.

hello - does anyone have any experience with Pulliam Engineering (Pulliam Engineering | Mercedes-Benz Specialists | Silver Spring, MD) in Silver Spring? ML is currently in limp mode, and as its in Silver Spring, it'd be nice to drive it there as opposed to Rockville. Thanks!

Hey,

Has anyone used/know someone who's used Classic Motors of DC (5220 Wisconsin Ave NW)? I'm looking to get my fuel filters (all 3) replaced on my 300D.

Their prices seem quite reasonable and they also service/sell a wide range of cars (from a '69 Mustang to MG's to Lancias).

Thanks for the input!

Will

On that note, what independent MB shop would you recommend? I'm looking for one here in the No.VA area.

Both of these guys each had 30+ years MB dealer experience, so without them I would not recommend GAG for older cars or harder to diagnose issues.

I've talked to the owner on Facebook and he sounds like he knows what he's doing. I've never taken my car there though...too far lol

I hope his situation improves. It's got to be at least 10 yrs since I last paid him a visit but I won't forget the old shop, it always had a couple of mint diesels in there waiting his magic touch.

for those of you in DC/MD/VA area looking for honest guys who know these cars inside and out, talk to Potomac Classic Autoworks....

call 321-947-8083 or 301-404-1028......ask for Rob or Kevin.

they did my valve adjustment and clutch work...theyre also very well connected on where to get new and second-hand parts in good shape. I got a 2nd hand trailing arm from a 126 for my car at a throwaway price.
