Went to Willy -- he's a legitimate genius with these cars. Nicest guy in the world too, loves to talk about cars and you can tell that he's really an enthusiast too. Will be using him exclusively now, and fully recommend him.

I just wanted to add to this thread, I went to Willy to have my center bearing and flex disks replaced on my R129. I brought the parts and Willy did the work. He is fantastic!! Not a bad thing I can say about the man.

I have tried them all and have had the best success with Zelko Automotive in Manhasset on the North Shore of Long Island (17miles from NY) . I have a 97 S420 that needs attention and he (Mr Zelko, Croatian) can find the problem fairly easily. I had been going to Willys in GN, but found it too expensive for the quality . It turns out Willy used to work at ZELKO and then started his own business in the next town.

Zelko is a great guy. I wish he did more Fords so I could do more business with him. He only calls about once a month.

After having a ton of work done by Zelko over a few years, my last visit was exactly that, my last. Poor air conditioning led to a compressor replacement which meant a dive into the dash . Broken lock, broken ash tray, and handing me miss matched keys. Fool me once , fool me twice...lawsuit pending

I take back my comments about ZELKO as per below. We worked together and he sorted it all out with no expense to me. He is a wizard with my W140, across the board.
I was just there in October 2016 and he serviced the car (115K) did a thorough check and inspection and all is well.

Would definitely use again.
