Auto Mar in Cold Spring NY
On rt 9 about 1 mile north of the 301 light.

I've used George at Auto Mar for year and highly recomend him at Auto Mar.
I have had major repair done and small But over all have had good experience with them. Plus he'll give it to you straight. Sometime has even done some thing at almost no cost. And sometime it has got pricy but it's been major jobs that ended up that way. And helped me battle that cost down with all sorts ov options like used parts ect.

Thanks... Since I live in New York City and have a cabin near Cold Spring (in Putnam Valley), good mechanics are always a good thing to know about. Should anyone be near or in the city, I highly recommend United Auto on East 83rd street, just east of 2nd Avenue. Tommy and his son Matt run a small shop there - excellent, honest and incredibly well priced. The first time I went I saw everything from cabs to Bentleys - they know their business. They have taken care of my 3 cars over the years, Cadillac Eldorado, Rolls Royce and Mercedes SLK230. Definitely a good number to keep in your wallet: telephone: 212 650-1276

I live in Put Valley, I have been using Xaver's in Newburgh. Would like to try Auto Mar, I pass that place all the time. Guys are excellent at Xavers.

If you live on the South Shore of Long Island take your German car to United Auto Tech in Baldwin. My friend took his VW Golf there after a so called shop that say they are German experts couldn't fix his VR6 and said United Auto fix the problem fast and Cheap so i have been bringing my E320 there and only get Great service. You can't go wrong going there. It's better than getting ripped at the dealer or bringing it to a pretender
