My mechanic has by passed the ECU because he said it would cost to much to repair. Since he did that my idle is extremely high. I am looking for a used part can anyone help me. And I need to understand the function of this ECU . The part numbers on the unit are as follows: 0280800212 and 0055458032... the unit also states it is made by Bosch and on the bottom it says Jetronic. The reason for him bypassing it was it was extremely hard to start in the mornig. Once it got started and warmed up it was good to go all day. Help is there a used one out there some where?
