Popping noise coming from the back part of the car under the car a pop, pop, pop what could this be when i'm on the highway

I just experienced the same problem, starting from 2 days ago. It starts to cause this popping/clanking noise from the under the car. My friend located the sound to be on the left rearside of the car. I'm not sure if it's the wheels/bearing that is causing this noise. The noise only starts when I hit 60+mph. It is a consistent repeating noise.

Could this be a serious problem?
