What's going on with the PM email notification?

I get Private messages and get email notifications of them 2 or 3 days later, even though they've been read. I received an email notification of a private message this morning that I received, read and replied to 3 days ago. Also, there doesn't seem to be an order to the notifications, either. You'll get a notification sometimes, within 1 hour and other times, within several days.

I typically receive email notification within seconds. The times I don't, I figure it's my email server, which does behave a bit erratically at times. The largest time-lag I can recall would be measured in minutes (certainly under 100).

I no longer receive emails for PMs or new posts on threads to which I have subscribed. My ISP changed during the time I have been a member here but I changed my settings to the new address. It was about the time of the changeover when the notices stopped.

Try changing and saving your email address again to see if that helps. It isn't an AOL address, is it?

I sent my home box several test emails from work and they are coming in within a minute, or so. I think it may be the server's spam filter. I've never flagged them as spam, but, it may perceive that they are. I may just change over to my yahoo account.
