Version 1 "Quick" Reply Button Doesn't do anything.

I have installed Firefox at the suggestion of many but to eliminate the annoying "Rollover Ads" that enlarge when the mouse scrolls across them, I have reverted to using Version 1 of BenzWorld.

I am wondering what the problem is with the button.

If I wish to quote a post in mine, I can click on the button and I am immediately placed in a new window in which to type my response with the previous post now wrapped in the quote mechanism.

If I click on the button, however, nothing happens. I still have to scroll down to the bottom and click on the response window.

I tested this in Version 2 and the button works as it should, placing me in a blank, open response window.

This is only an issue if I scroll back to a post at the top of the page to read it before I reply and don't need the quote feature. I suppose I could use the button and then erase the quote but dammit, I want my button to work.

Can somebody with a big hammer fix this?
