This has been mentioned before, but still has not materialized. I don't know how hard this would be, but it would make things much better in general. Not just for eliminating petty mistakes, but for clarity - many specific mechanical or electrical bits in these cars have odd names that must be spelled right in order for ANYONE, even MB techs, to know what you are talking about (and even then it can be a crapshoot!)

"It" does not exist on this board, so "it" isn't called anything. "It" could be called "radish salad" if someone wanted it to be called "radish salad" that badly, and it would still do the same thing. Many different applications have spelling verification programs in them, and they are all referred to as different things.
Microsoft word calls it "Spelling and Grammar Check."
Many web-based email programs have this function, and call it "Check spelling."
If you want spell checking capabilities, just copy and paste your initial text into a word processing program such as MS Word, MS Works, Corel Word Perfect etc... Use the spell checker, correct your errors, and copy and paste the corrected text back to the forum.

Just download ieSpell. I have used it here for years. There is a little check mark in the upper right corner of this Reply to Thread box. I click it and SpellCheck is off an running. Why can't you get it?
