Hello,

Although not OFFICIAL I have it on very good authority that Laguna Niguel Mercedes will be the only dealer in Orange County Ca. They are converting one of their outside AMG showrooms into a Smart car only showroom! I wish them the very best of luck. I for one will be getting one through them and i'm sure many are to follow.

Defined here in Canada as that 6 minute run to the 7-11 that takes 45 minutes because you have to stop & show the car to so many people :-)

Who at MBLN said that they are getting Smarts? as The Smart Car program is through Penske aka UAG and the Smarts will be sold at the UAG dealers...

I Was told this from the Manager at UAG

I am aware of MBLN's independence from UAG. However I have been told by 3 seperate people in management that they will be carrying them. In fact I was shown drawings that will transfer the seperate AMG showroom into a dedicated Smart car building. I don't wish to name names however.

I have not heard of this but if you have seen some drawings or have been watching any public filings and saw this... then its very possible... but then again, there have been dealerships that have been given the deal and had it pulled for many different reasons. As of right now, no one is allowed to say if they are signed up but go to any street tour and your bound to pull one or two dealership locations out of them!
