Drove smart for the first time today

And I love it! It's actually enough power, I was worried it was going to be lathargic. For it's size, the motor is a good match.

08 cant come soon enough!

It's nice that you guys get the gas engine. Here in Canada, we get the diesel. 800 c.c. three cylinder, pushing out 40 H.P. and 74 Lbs./ft. I test-drove one a couple years ago and found, although it is not a neck-snapper, the torque was decent. For what the car is intended, the power is adequate. Highway-wise, passing gear is sad. The engine screams like it is being tortured, but it was designed for mainly city use. Still, it is a cool car!

ALephart, love your avatar!
