guys, think of buying my other half a smart car. has anyone got videos on its safety (like crash tests, etc) ? need to see if i'm doing a right thing..
Not to be a smart *** here but you do know a Smart isn't going to hold up well against say your ML. Just stating the obvious. It is a tiny car. If you're concerned about her safety then I'd go for a larger vehicle.

WOW - how fast did both vehicles go? Just keep in mind this is an offset crash plus the Smart is about half the size and weight of the E-class it's crashing into.
Imagine any other small car doing the same thing...
Remember seeing footage of a head on crash between a Ford Galaxie and a Ford Pinto in the early seventies - the Pinto got sliced like a fish.
